What is Kapok Filling?
Kapok is a natural and organic fibre harvested from seed pods on trees growing wild in the tropical forests. The fibre is hypoallergenic and more breathable than any other natural fibre because it has a hollow core and consist of 80% air, making it about 8 times lighter than cotton. The fibres are covered with a thin layer of wax that repels insects and dust mites, so no pesticides are used in its production.
